Happy Engineers Week!

As everyone gets on with their Engineers Week celebrations, I thought it was the perfect time to remind you of some of the amazing titleholders who have visited Section 36 to talk about their Engineering related platforms!

First there was Alayna Westcom! Not only was her platform "Success through STEM", but her pageant talent was a science experiment! That's called full engagement!

Then came Emily Thomas. She not only had STEM as her platform, but talked about the importance of adding "Arts" to the mix, making STEM turn into STEAM!

Erin Connor then visited with us. Her platform wanted to encourage young women to become scientists. Or, (I imagine) engineers!

Which brings us to Emily Mahana. Not only was her platform encouraging young girls to enter STEM fields, but she is about to graduate with an Engineering degree herself! Clearly she walks the walk! So, a very special Happy Engineers Week to Emily!
