If you follow this blog on Instagram (and if you don't, you really should) you know that was an important detail for Section 36! It means that there are six current MAO state titleholders who have visited Section 36! I have had the honor of conducting interviews with Miss NH Marisa Moorhouse, Miss VT Erin Connor, Miss Maine Katie Elliott, Miss RI Nicolette Peloquin, Miss MA Jillian Zucco, and Miss MA OT Jordan St. Onge!
But, it's even more than that! Marisa's crowning also means that four local titleholders have visited with Section 36, and then gone on to hold their state title after being interviewed!
The first to do this was Alissa Musto! She advanced from Miss Cambridge to Miss Massachusetts (and to the top 15 at Miss America!) following her interview with Section 36.

Of course, the most recent to do that was Marisa this weekend.
In-between, two consecutive holders of the Miss Boston's Outstanding Teen title went on to win the Miss Massachusetts' Outstanding Teen crown! Carly Fisher was followed by Jordan St. Onge this year!

So, as you can see, doing an interview with Section 36 is not only a lot of fun, but it can be a career booster!
(Ok, the girls themselves had something to do with it.)
